Miracle
Miracle came to us through the intervention of a local veterinary hospital. Her owners took her there when their children broke her little back leg. They surrendered her to the clinic and they called us for help. Miracle’s leg was severely damaged but she didn’t let that slow her down or dull her enthusiasm for life and love. She tried so hard to give everyone kisses, dragging her leg behind her. The vet got her into surgery and repaired her leg so that she didn’t have to lose it. Miracle is now sporting an apparatus on her leg. You’d think this would limit her mobility but not our little Miracle! Miracle loves everyone and everything. Her foster family is doing a stupendous job of caring for this bundle of love, but Miracle’s desire to greet everyone with a show of devotion means they have to keep an extra eye on her at all times! If an adult walks past her little crate, she squeals with delight.
If another dog happens to be within reach, she wants to express her admiration. If a child is around, she’s excited beyond measure. If a cat approaches her, she’s in heaven! This is a puppy who knows that life holds great things for her. She will have to wear the apparatus until her leg is healed. The vets will then monitor her to ensure that she is fine and she should then live a normal, pain free life.
We believe we should be there for dogs like Miracle, who suffer excruciating pain at the hands of those who profess to love them. Miracle’s temperament is a testament to the resiliency of these dogs as she trusts us despite having been harmed. The cost of her treatment was estimated to be between $1200 and $1400. We’ve already paid close to $1000 for her care and we anticipate having to pay several hundred more as she will need bandage changes, x-rays, the surgery to remove the apparatus, and possible physical therapy. Our volunteers have rallied together and have tried to devise ways to raise money toward her care but we will need others to show their admiration for this little girl and contribute toward the costs. Miracle is currently ready for adoption!

*Now taking applications for Tomi*
Mommy Tomi
I'm Tomi...or aka Mommy Tomi. RROC is currently taking applications for me but I must be with my puppies until they are strong enough. I came from Kansas where I lost my way and ended up at a shelter. Much time had passed but FINALLY my owners located me.
They identified me right down to my collar and it looked like I would finally be going home. Unfortunately, they found out that a fee to spring me from the joint existed and chose to leave me at the shelter. I was heartbroken that they decided they did not want me anymore. RROC took me in and decided I deserved a second chance because I am a great girl who deserves to have a loving family.
Shortly after I was rescued, RROC found out that I am pregnant. I had my pups and would like to gather not only some interest for my adoption but donations for my care. RROC will take great care of my puppies but will need some assistance to make sure they have everything they need to grow into strong young dogs (like their mom) and find a new forever family.
Won't you help us? To donate to me and my pups, please click on the link below. Thank you and look for pics of my new pups and watch my other video!
