"Boy has everybody struck pay dirt here!  My new family and I loved each other from first sight.  I miss my foster parents.  They were terrific.  But now I have two young boys who think I’m their dream come true..

My new mom is going to enroll in some private classes so I can go backpacking and hiking with everybody.  I’m pretty good but Mom just wants me to be able to go anywhere.

Thank you RROC and thank you to my fosters.  I owe you a forever debt but I’ll be the best Labrador I can be –of that you can be sure."

Thank you from us too!

DUTCH

Hey everyone, I was a 6-7 year old purebred chocolate lab girl. I was hours away from being put down and RROC stepped in a saved me. I had quite the journey to get where I am today, have learned many new things and have stolen the hearts of everyone who has met me.

I waited 6 months for my new family and while I enjoyed myself immensley in my foster home, my time arrived for me to find my forever home. On August 15, 2010, the wait was over. I was introduced to my new amazing family who took to me right away. You don't have to worry about me RROC, I am going to be great. Thanks for everything, Love, Dutch.

SUMMERTIME

SABLE

I was a 1 year old purebred chocolate girl who was adopted out on August 6, 2010. See what my new family says about me below!

"We thought we've give you an almost 1 week update.  Sable is doing great.  Yes, we have decided to keep her name.  We think she likes it, and so do we!  You were right, she is very smart and is catching onto her training very fast.

She has been joining us for morning run/walks and is learning to heel very well.  She sits when asked, is learning to stay very well and just today learned "down".  She is slowly but surely losing interest in the chickens, with our help and training.  She was to the vet earlier this week to get her heartworm and rubatella.  The vet gave us a free checkup and everything seems AOK.

We start a training class next week, at which she will also begin to be socialized with other dogs under the trainer's supervision.  So far, we think we made a great choice because we can see how fast she is learning and soon should be a role model dog.  Even the trainer, during our free consultation, said she can tell Sable will be a quick learner and it shouldn't be long before she can begin group classes."
