Jack

I'm Jack! I'm was a handsome Lab mix. At 5 years old I still had plenty of life left and lots of love to give. My new family recognized that so they took me home on August 19, 2008.

Topper

Hello, I was a 5 year old purebred yellow lab. You are probably asking yourself how I ended up in rescue? Well, what matters is that I was not with rescue very long! I went to my adoptive family on August 19, 2008.

Abra

I'm Abra! I was a 6 month old lab mixed gal. My family adopted me on August 19, 2008.

Amigo

Looks like a month for seniors here at RROC! My name was Amigo and I was a 10 yr old purebred golden. My family took me home on August 18, 2008.

To my brother Aspen, I am finally going home. Rest in Peace.

Kora

Well RROC, it's Kora here, the purebred Chesapeake Bay Retriever gal. If everyone remembers correctly, I came to RROC in 2007 with my brother Aspen. He was a good looking yellow lab guy who found his forever home with an an owner in the mountains.

As a 9 year old who was surrendered along with my brother, you can imagine how tough it was for me. I lost my family and brother in one shot. RROC gave me a second chance. Four months after my brother was adopted he passed away, but he was happy in his final days and for that I am glad.

At the time I was still waiting for my forever home and while I am a great dog, it was hard for people to see passed my age to give me a second chance.

My chance came today, August 15, 2008. My new home was found and I am finally ready to settle down. I want to thank my foster mom for sticking with me and for my new family taking me to events while I was with RROC and showing me off. I guess it was meant to be afterall.

Thank you for believing in me and giving me a second chance. To all my friends at RROC who are still waiting for your home...you have been taken in by a great organization and they will not give up on you. Your time will come. This is Kora, the purebred senior Chessie, signing off and going home.

Muffin

Hello there, I was a golden mixed girl who was around 6 years old. I like to think of myself as one of RROC's best kept secrets. It took me awhile to go to my forever home but it's only because I was waiting for the perfect one! I found my perfect forever home on August 14, 2008!

Special thanks to the Schulz Family who was my DEFENDER SPONSOR during my time at RROC. I'm going home now but I wanted to say thanks!
