February 2009

TABBY

I was a 5 year old black lab gal. On February 22, 2009, I joined my forever family!

DARBY

I was a 4 year old lab/poodle mix who was adopted out so fast I didn't even make it onto RROC's available page. My new family rescued me on February 22, 2009.

RUPERT

I was a 10 month old male labradoodle. My forever home officially made me part of their family on February 22, 2009.

BONNIE

I was a 7 month old female lab mix. A bit on the smaller side, I knew someone would be looking for a petite bundle of joy which was me! I am happy to report that my new family adopted me on February 22, 2009.

BUG

I'm Bug!  I was a 5 year old black lab male who got his second chance in a forever home on February 22, 2009.

CHET ~ I HAVE A DEFENDER SPONSOR!

I was a 2 year old lab mixed boy who came back to RROC after my owner went into the military. My foster family got me back for a second time and decided this time that they couldn't let me go. I am grateful to my Defender sponsor for donating to my care while I was with RROC. Thanks everyone, I 'm home!

Melanie Adams was a proud DEFENDER SPONSOR of Chet!

MUSHU

Ok, my name was Mushu and I am going to shout from the rooftops that I am happy to finally be going home. As a senior lab, I came to RROC and had some kinks to work out. At 8 years old, a senior black lab, it's tough to understand how I could end up in rescue during my golden years.

RROC believed I deserved a second chance and with some love, care and a devoted foster family, they were right. I went home on February 20, 2009 and I want to thank RROC for working to find me a forever home.

NED

As an active 18 month old yellow lab boy, I was ecstatic to find my new forever home on February 20, 2009.

VANILLA

I was a 1.5 year old female lab mix. I was delighted to find my new family on February 17, 2009.

LULIUOKALANI

Hi everyone, my name is Lillie and I was a  senior Chesapeake girl.  As an 8 year old it's a little tougher for us to find homes but RROC did it! My forever home adopted me on February 17, 2009.

BLITHE

I was the 2 year old black lab gal whom RROC housed for over a year until I finally found my forever home. I am deaf so it was tough for people to truly understand how amazing I could be with only 4 out of 5 senses. I didn't seem to notice much because I was so smart and so affectionate. I am grateful to my foster mom for working so hard to prepare me for my forever home. I was also RROC's inaugural PAWdcast feature dog on its first episode so now you will officially NEVER forget me! Well, I went home on February 14, 2009 and am looking forward to my new life! Thanks, RROC!

CASHEW ~ I HAD A HERO SPONSOR!

I was a 9 year old female lab mix. RROC saved me from a shelter where I had virtually no chance of being adopted. I lost weight while in foster care and finally started to get the love I deserve. On Valentine's day, February 14, 2009, my foster family decided that it was time to make my stay permanent. I am now in my forever home. I would like to thank my Guardian Sponsor, Michael Villano for supporting me with a donation while I was in foster care. Thank you again!

Michael Villano was a proud HERO SPONSOR of Cashew!

RUBY

I was a young black lab mixed female and I was lucky enough to find the perfect home on February 15, 2009. To see my updated photos and message from my family in RROC's 2009 gallery, click here!

BUCK

I was a 3 year old yellow lab boy. My family adopted me from RROC on February 10, 2009.

CESSNA

I'm Cessna and I was a 4 month old black lab mixed girl. As a puppy, it's hard to believe that I found my way to rescue, can't everyone just see how adorable I am? I went to my new adoptive family on February 8, 2009.

ELOISE ~ I HAD A GUARDIAN SPONSOR!

I was a 3 year old lab mixed gal who was adopted by her forever home on February 8, 2009. I want to say thank you to my Guardian sponsor Richard Stith for his contribution to my care while I was with RROC. Thanks, everyone!

NIMBUS
